Written for three sopranos and one mezzo-soprano with piano accompaniment, this powerful chamber work spotlights and decries gun violence in America from four sides of a school mass shooting – the mother of a killed student, the teacher protecting her classroom, the pediatric surgeon dealing with the aftermath, and the mother of the shooter.
